Some games have been changed on the schedules linked below due to conflict.  Please check back periodically to make sure you are current! (1/30)

Big Games, Week 7

NBA:  Knicks  vs Warriors - The big question is; will the Knicks be channeling their inner Lee Corso, and bring back their headgear as they hope to rally against the Warriors on cupids special day to pick up their first win! Warriors look to lock up the 6 seed over the Bulls as the tournament looms.

NCAA: Oregon (4-1) vs G'town (3-2) - Georgetown looks to avenge the tough loss to Notre Dame in week 5, while the Ducks looks to get back on the winning track after suffering their first loss in week 5.  Sure to be a great Valentine's Day matchup!

Nice Weather Alert!

So the weather held, and we were able to wear shorts to the games this week!  Not to be outdone by this weeks 66 on Wednesday!   Lets pray we get to enjoy these temperatures for a bit longer.

Love is in the air! This one will make you smile indeed... and I dont mean just because little Jordan is looking innocent in the foreground :-) The Schwaiger's have been a tremendous help with the Little Indians Program this year, and they always do it with a smile.  Thanks to Lauren and Matt for all you have done this year, we couldn't have done it without you!!!

Check back next week for the PIC OF THE WEEK.

Week 5 3/4 Hustle Award

pic33 6.jpg

The 3/4 grade hustle award for week 6 goes to a youngster that even hustles up to the crowd to give his carnation away!! Ive had the pleasure of coaching Cruz Miller for a couple years now and this kid knows how to "take off the gloves" when the game is on the line.  Again, not a prolific scorer (yet) but what he does in every other facet of the game is admirable, Not to mention his attitude... always a smile on his face.  If he creates a turn over, hes the first one running down the court to defend the fast break. A true pleasure to have on any team.  Great job Cruz, keep up the hard work! PS, you've reached your question limit for this season...

Week 5 5/6 Hustle Award

Emmett Herrick is this weeks hustle award winner for the 3/4 graders.  Emmett is what i like to call the "silent assassin".  Soft spoken but, coachable, likable, and not afraid to throw it all out there for his team and the win.  While Emmett might not light up the scoring column, all the little things he does on the defensive side of the ball as well as setting great screens definitely contributes to his teams overall success.  Check out Emmett's hustle and determination the next time he's on the court!
